When the Forum needs help coordinating a speaker or members need help in submitting a topic idea, or catching up on what was shared at a recent meeting, the Director of Speakers is here to assist. I manage speaker scheduling, take notes during general meetings, and help ensure clear communication with members. I also assist with inbox and Facebook inquiries—always aiming to support the board with a collaborative spirit (and the occasional homemade treat).

Jake Hajer is a poet, artist, painter, chef and certified Sommelier.
The Texan graduated from the University of Chicago and then after a few years at major advertising firms he moved to San Francisco, where he was Sommelier, Beverage Director, and GM’d restaurants. He also owned a Champagne and French fry Bar.
His businesses have been named #1 in their region or category at least three times, including most recently, #1 Winery and Travel Destination in The Napa Valley by U.S. News and World Report in 2023. Recognized as a leader in the Napa Valley in DTC management; He is a clear communicator and creative problem solver who excels at building and leading teams that succeed in sales and hospitality.
A business leader for over 15 years, he believes in servant leadership and that true strength and value comes from helping others. Along the way, he builds relationships, grows and retains staff.
With a passion for wine, his goal is to improve the lives of all those he meets.
When he’s not writing, painting, or cooking, he’s watching the Chicago Cubs and listening to a record from his large vinyl collection.
Jake Hajer currently resides in the town of Sonoma near the Square with his loving wife Charlotte and two boys, Hudson and Abraham.
