Director of Winery Relations - Caymus Vineyards

Email: helene@caymus.com

As Director of Winery Relations and Special Events for Caymus Vineyards, Helene

oversees the creation of a wide range of events at Caymus Vineyards, guiding her team on how to present the voice and face of the winery in a way that establishes a lasting personal connection.

In the 12 years that she has been at Caymus, the winery has grown significantly, adding new wines and opening a second winery in Suisun Valley [Caymus-Suisun Winery], an exceptional AVA just a short drive from Napa. One of her priorities has been to convey the Wagners’ perspective and help shape its story as they move into the future. Likewise, in Rutherford, she continues to share the family's journey with guests along with the diversity of their wine offerings – always in a way that is humble, down to earth, and true to their origins.

Prior to Caymus Vineyards, Helene honed in her Hospitality, Events and DTC skills while at Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel. Helene has been learning and refining the art of Hospitality since childhood. Raised in Texas, France and San Diego with French parents, Helene was often recruited to help with events involving dignitaries invited to the family home.

Additionally, with a husband in the hotel, hospitality, and restaurant industry, her eyes were opened while living in Egypt, Bahrain, Alaska, Hawaii and parts of Europe. “I realized how understanding and respecting different cultures and mindsets were so important in making people feel comfortable and connected, both abroad and at home.”

While enjoying work and life, Helene’s favorite pastimes are many, including skiing, art, going for walks, travel, ballet, languages, and a nice bowl of ice cream!
